The cabinet may be constructed of any of the standard hardwoods although I prefer the light look of ash as well as it’s durability. Oak and cherry also work well. The drawer fronts may be of the same wood or of contrasting varieties including high quality pine. The drawer insides are usually made of clear pine, basswood or poplar. For a small additional cost the drawer bottoms may be made using aromatic red cedar. All surfaces, inside and out are finely sanded and finished with a special urethane and oil mixture, then waxed to a smooth feel. The drawers are finished to perfection, allowing them to slide freely with an almost airtight fit. Of course, although the drawers are sized to fit CD Jewel case dimensions, they may also be used to hold many other items as well.

CD Storage Unit Pricing:A rough price guideline is $175 X (the number of drawers) for standard CD/Dvd Storage Chests with a 10" - 12" depth, front to back. For depths greater than 12", an additional charge is calculated based on the number of extra inches over 12. Add $100.00 for each additional inch greater than 12" up to 18 inches. For small cabinets add $50 per additional inch. For example, a 12" deep 10-drawer chest would be $1750. For another example, a 14" deep 10-drawer chest would be $1950, 16" $2150 etc. Please call or e-mail for more details.
